Nebim Group, which includes the above trade names, is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement.

Personal data

By personal data we mean any data that allows individuals to be individually identified.

We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • Company name
  • First name and surname
  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Other personal data that you actively provide through, for example, correspondence and telephone contact.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us and we will delete this information.

Processing of personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter.
  • Calling or emailing you if necessary to carry out our services.
  • Informing you of changes to our services and products.
  • To deliver goods and services to you.
  • We also process personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without a human being (e.g. an employee of Nebim Group) being involved.

How long we keep personal data

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Nebim Group does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.

Your visit to our website

Our primary purpose in recording information is to facilitate visits to our site. Only information that we consider necessary to achieve this purpose is recorded. You are under no obligation to share that information.

Storing information

When you visit this website, we may store certain information related to your visit. These include:

  • The IP address - not traceable to you as a person
  • The Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • The duration of the visit
  • Pages visited
  • The entry/exit page
  • The number of times the website is visited
  • The device used
  • Operating system information

This information is used for statistical purposes. These include Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Remarketing Google Adwords, Hotjar (website usage tool) and leads.vzw (tool for the purpose of recording website usage and site behaviour). On some pages, you will be asked to leave information such as name and contact details. For example, when subscribing to the newsletter, downloading a white paper or other documentation. In these cases, we explicitly ask you for permission to use your data for marketing purposes. You will receive confirmation of this by e-mail. Each time you are approached, you can unsubscribe.

Google Analytics

Through our website, a cookie is set by the US company Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track how visitors use the website and to receive reports about it. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not provided and the information cannot be traced back to you as a person. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated to the Privacy Shield programme of the US Department of Commerce. This implies an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Social media

Our website includes buttons to promote ("like") or share ("tweet") web pages on social networks. These buttons work through snippets of code, which come from the social media themselves.

Cookies are set by means of this code. We have no influence on these. Please read the privacy statement of the social media to read what they do with your (personal) data, which they process through these cookies. The information they collect is anonymised as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ adhere to Privacy Shield principles and are members of the US Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield programme.

There are exceptions to this rule:

  • If you have specifically given us permission to do so
  • There are legal grounds to do so.

Securing personal data

We take the protection of your data seriously and also take appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is nevertheless not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us.

Rights regarding your data

You have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of all or part of your personal data by us or one of our processors. You also have the right to have us transfer the data you have provided to yourself or on your behalf directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. Should we process your personal data on the basis of a consent given by you to this effect, you always have the right to withdraw this consent.
